How I Made Nine Showgirl Costumes for a Burlesque Show, Créme costumes part 3, stats

Showgirl's Life | Inside Gazealous Studio Créme Showgirl act costumes introduction and part 3

Hey there!

Welcome back!! This is the final post in a three-part series about my Créme Showgirls costumes. If you missed the first two posts, here are links to part one and part two.
The video below is all about the stats of these costumes. How much time I spent on each, what was the total cost, and where are they now.

Looking back at how much I spent on this particular act, I probably wouldn’t do it like this again if I didn’t have an investor. I bootstrapped this entire production number and it has yet to recoup its initial investment. Probably why the Showgirl production went away in the first place. The initial investment of a show like that takes years to recuperate, and I guess most businesses don’t have time for that.

So what happened to the costumes? Since it was created for that one show and the show or number was never performed again, I began to use some of the pieces to create other acts, watch the video below to find out more about the new life these costumes are leading.

Thanks for watching!

Stay tuned for the next series about the crown called “Bo” and the matching body chain!
