Did you want to audition?

The answer is no. If I had known about it, I would have boycotted it from the beginning. Knowing Dita and her style is the reason. My guess is that they were very secretive about what the show was when they posted auditions. I will update this when I find out more.

Has the casting been done yet and are any of the former Jubilee! showgirls in it or from other shows?

This is unclear to me. I have heard that they did audition and hired a small cast, but I am not definite on numbers or if they are actually real showgirls that used to be in Jubilee!

Does "pre-sale" mean they haven't done much development on the show yet and want to see if anybody will buy tickets before they invest money in it, and if not, scrap the whole thing?

Pre-sale these days means that they are trying to recoup the costs of what they’ve already invested in the show. If she bought some of the costumes, I’m sure that set her back. But also, Vegas has turned into a 4-wall only town, meaning anyone who wants to produce a show in Vegas needs to shell out at least $250k for the first month of leasing the space and marketing the show. This is intel from the magician’s circle in Vegas. So that number is NOT to secure the Jubilee! theatre. Probably a smaller venue.
